Salvation Army and City Saver Party at APSU
2016-2017
In December, a few fellow members and I stood outside of Kroger and rang a bell for the Salvation Army. The monetary donations raised while doing this went to programs like Dauphin Way Lodge, Corps Salvage Rehabilitation Center, Project Able, The Haven, Family and Emergency Services, Homeless/Transient Shelter, Disaster Services, Citadel Corps, and Northside Corps. The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 by a Methodist Reform Church minister, William Booth and his wife, Catherine.
At Austin Peay, fellow members and I worked a City Saver Party, where we watched children and made sure that they were careful on the inflatables and games provided. |
